ABOUT THE LAKE HOUSE
This exceptional property is possibly the best Beechworth has to offer. As one of the more premium holiday rentals for larger groups, this renovation and major addition was designed with holiday makers in mind.
With quality fittings and appliances. the property has 4 bedrooms (King bed with ensuite, 2 x Queen Rooms and 1 Double bed) and 2 Bathrooms. Fold out couch in separate living room is close in size to a double bed and there is a separate single bed mattress which can be pulled out and set up in one of the bedrooms.
There are 2 TV/ living areas - both with cosy wood fires, perfect for putting the kids in their own space to watch Netflix.
Kayaks and hand lines for fishing are available for use as well as noodles to float in the lake on.
It's an easy 10 min walk into town (around 1km), but once you get to the lake house you wont want to leave!
Watch the sunset over the Chinese gardens while you enjoy a glass of wine. The house is beautifully quiet and you can hear the wonderful birdlife as you enjoy that spectacular view over the lake.
A very special place to unravel with family and friends. Weekends 2 night minimum. 3 nights minimum on public holidays and 4 nights minimum over Easter and Christmas.

Garden
A large grass area beside the house is a stunning place to lie back on the sun loungers and read a book or play cricket with the family. There is also a trampoline for the kids. While we do our best to ensure all equipment available to use is maintained, guests do so at their own risk.
The Lake
The Lake Sambell takes 40-50 mins to circumnavigate. Enter the walking path at the front of the house, turn left then join the road entrance to the lake 5 mins later. A goat track right in front of the house leads directly into the lake but its steep and only for the sure-footed. Guest use this at their own risk. Along the path enjoy the beautiful Chinese Gardens, fish or jump off the jetty. or visit the lakeside beach and kids playground. There is a lovely bird hide illustrating the wonderful bird life around the lake as well as information plaques along the path. Kayaks, canoes and a stand up paddle board are available for use under the deck. While we do our best to ensure all equipment available to use is well maintained, guests do so at their own risk.

House is available for room hire (meetings) and private Functions pending availability. Catering also available for weekends or private Functions. Please send us an email and we would be happy to discuss this with you and help plan for the event. Local wines and craft beers can be sourced and available chilled for your arrival. Please enquire direct about this. Coles home delivery also operate in Beechworth.
Longer Stays
Pending availability and enough notice, a special rate can be organised for stays over a week. Beechworth and surrounds have a great deal to offer and spreading out your stay over a few weeks give you a chance to live like a local and explore all that North East Victoria has to offer. The Lake House is located on Lake Sambell in the historic town of Beechworth. Beechworth is a well-preserved historical town located in the north-east of Victoria, Australia, famous for its major growth during the gold rush days of the mid-1850s. Our property is an easy walk to the centre of of this historic town.
